Post, the first

I've finally given in to the requests of the family to make a blog available for perusal. I cannot guarantee that my antics will be as exciting as Adam's first snow storm or Wilson's ganache-making, but I can show you the world through my eyes, as frighteningly candid as that may seem.

Without further ado, I suppose you must be wondering what exactly a "little bit of ivory, two inches wide" is. Guesses anyone? Two points and eternal gratitude to whomever gets it (and I trust you won't use the Web to cheat).

Recommendation of the day: Food Network's Ham on the Street. Nothing, of course, is as good as Alton Brown's take on culinary adventure, but this is a close second.
