Hear that? ... Waaaait for it ....

I'M DONE!!! Oh yes, I am done with my MA comprehensive exam. It was a four-hour long essay test. It was fairly easy; in fact, I probably didn't even have to read half of my reading list. I feel really good about the first three-quarters of the exam and decently good about the last question. Let's put it this way - I'll be really surprised if I don't pass.

After my exam, I took my last trip to Strozier Library. Ever. I never have to deal with trying to hunt down books in a crappy library again! Tonight, I'm having a celebratory sushi dinner wtih friends. Life is good.

Anyway, I'll be busy with moving stuff during the coming week. I'll get on the road on Friday, the 28th, then fly back to Tally on Monday for the last few days of summer school before driving back up to Carolina for good. Yay!

Talk about giving the bird!

So in this week's peculiar postings, I found a story about a woman who received a finger in the mail. Creepy, eh?

Speaking of getting the bird, did Dad ever flip any of you off with a patient's hand in surgery? I remember this one time he yanked on the tendon, sending the finger flying up. It was a good chuckle.
