new job!

And God shone down on the earth, and there was sunshine and there was rain and there were vegetables and there was The Fresh Market. So, a few updates, my faithful readers. I have ceased teaching for the atrocious Guilford County School system and acquired a position as Travel Specialist for The Fresh Market, headquartered here in the great city of Greensboro, and start Monday morning. My job will be to handle all travel arrangements for the company. It's expanding a lot right now, which means lots of new stores opening, which means lots of people have to be going back and forth. It's pretty cool. I happened to be in the right place at the right time for this job, and the very small world of connections worked its magic this time. I'm very excited!

Oh Lauren, I'm sooo excited for you! The Fresh Market is a wonderful company and I love their stores. I've been a Fresh Market customer since college. I was just bragging about my dinner last night to your mom from TFM! Congratulations! Ashley

I think one of your perks should be that you be personally present to launch the Jackson store--can you please ask your boss if that can be arranged???!! MOM

Hot diggity dog! I agree with your Mom and Maggs - get them to let you come on down and open up the store in Madison!
