holiday job
I have, at long last, gotten myself a seasonal job at Williams-Sonoma, which includes a nice 40% discount. I'm counting on this to tide me over until I can get my hands on a salaried job with important benefits like, you know, insurance. I start training next week at W-S during the evenings and working for real the week after. I'm also hoping for a second job at Barnes and Noble, which would totally be sweet. Books and cooking - two of my favorite things! I should get Julie Andrews to sing about it.

Awesome!! I'm so excited for you. What fun partime jobs- getting to be around "all of your favorite things." Doe, a deer, a female deer, ray, a drop of . . . sorry, rabbit trail. Those will definitely be a great ways to keep busy while you wait on "the real thing." We had such a great time hanging out with you while you were here and can't wait to see you at Christmas.
Wonderful news! I hope that you love WC. I've always wanted to work there, I would love to know all about cooking supplies. Keep us posted on the B&N opportunity. Oh, I just checked the christmas list, guess who buys for ashley this year!!!!!! Yes, I'm the lucky one.....
